SSC CHSL Notification 2024

The tentative exam calendar of SSC CHSL is out, and the Staff Selection Commission has provided the tentative schedule of the 2024 SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2 ) examinations.

The application process for the SSC CHSL will start on 2 April 2024. The candidates must apply before 1 May 2024.

The candidates can expect vacancies for the post of Group C Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Data Entry Operators/ and Junior Assistants in various ministries and departments of the government of India.

The exact date of the exam is to be announced by the authority. However, the SSC has provided an expected time frame in which the candidates can expect CHSL examinations. The examination date of the SSC CHSL 2024 can happen in June-July 2024.

Who can apply for the SSC CHSL 2024 Exams?

Candidates who wish to apply for the upcoming SSC CHSL 2024 examinations should meet the following eligibility requirements:

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• The applicant should fall in the age group of 18 years – 27 years.
• The applicant must have passed the 10+2 exams or the exam equivalent to senior secondary from the recognized board of India.

SSC CHSL 2024 Application Fee

The application Fee of the SSC CHSL 2024 is Rs 100 for the applicants, where women, SC, ST, and ex-servicemen applicants are not liable to pay for the SSC CHSL 2024 registration.

Examination Pattern of the 2024 SSC CHSL 

SSC CHSL 2024 examinations will be conducted in two stages – Tier I and II.

Tier 1:

• Tier 1 Examination is a computerized test where the candidate will get 60 minutes of duration to complete the test.
• The PwD candidate will get an extra 20 minutes to complete the exam. 
• In the first stage of the exam, the candidate will have a total of 100 questions to answer.
• With one correct answer, the candidate will gain 2 marks and with an incorrect answer, the candidate will have to pay a penalty of half marks.

The Tier 1 examinations have the following pattern :

Tier II Exam Pattern:

• The Tier II examinations will have three sections with modules. There will be two sessions for the Tier II examinations, which will be organized on the same day. 
• The duration of Session 1 will be 2 hours 15 minutes and for Session 2, the duration of the exam will be 30 minutes.
• The candidate will get a 1 mark penalty for incorrect answers and 3 marks for correct answer

How to apply for the SSC CHSL 2024?

Interested candidates can register for the SSC CHSL examination, once the application form is released by the SSC. 

Follow the below steps to apply for the SSC CHSL 2024 examinations:

1. Go to the official website of SSC mentioned above.
2. Now, navigate to the “Latest news” in the center of the page and find the application link for the SSC CHSL 2024 examinations.
3. Click on that direct application link.
4. Register yourself by entering the required information such as name, DOB, 12th passing marks, and all.
5. The next step is document uploading, scanning the required documents, such as photographs and signatures before uploading them on the application portal.
6. Pay the application fee and complete the application process for the SSC CHSL.
