The men’s African Games 2024 cricket competition is presently in progress. Three cities in Ghana, Accra, Kumasi, and Cape Coast, are the sites of the matches.  The cricket matches are scheduled to begin on March 17 and run through March 23.

The 13th edition of the continent multi-sport competition, the African Games 2024, will be held in three Ghanaian cities: Accra, Kumasi, and Cape Coast. The massive sporting competition in South Africa will comprise 29 different sports disciplines. 

The African Games, originally slated for 2023, were moved to 2024. Five thousand competitors from all around Africa will come together for the Games over fifteen days to compete in a wide variety of sporting events. 

Cricket will be featured at the African Games in 2024 for the first time. The tournament’s two venues, Achimota Oval A in Accra and Achimota Oval B in Accra will host the games.

Men’s African Games 2024 Cricket Format

Teams from eight different countries compete in the cricket competition at the 13th African Games. The teams are split into two teams of four. Ghana, the host country, Uganda, Kenya, and South Africa make up Group A. 

Group B, meanwhile, features the artistic abilities of Namibia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and Tanzania. Each team will play its opponents in a round-robin fashion during the group stage, with the highest-scoring two teams from every group advancing to the semi-finals. 

In a single round-robin format, each country will play the other teams in their group once, with the two teams with the highest scores in the rankings following all of the group stage matches advancing to the semifinals.

On Saturday, March 23, the African Games Ghana 2024 Men’s Final will pit the winners of the two semi-finals against one another. The third-place playoff is scheduled to take place on the same day.

Men’s African Games 2024 Cricket Live Streaming 

The first-ever cricket sport in the history of the African Games is scheduled to begin on March 17 for the Ghana 2024 Men. Up to eight teams will compete in the competition, which is being organized by the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa.

The FanCode app and website will provide live streaming of the men’s cricket sport during the 2023–24 African Games for viewers in India. The African Games Ghana 2024 Men will not be televised live on any Indian TV station.
