Claiming the Canada Workers Benefit (CWB) 2024

There are two ways to claim your CWB.

When you file your income tax return:

  2. Do your taxes electronically or file a paper return, including Schedule 6 (Canada Workers Benefit).

Through automatic advance payments:

  2. No need to apply separately, but receiving the ACWB doesn’t guarantee you’ll get the full amount, and you might need to repay some at tax time.
