BSF Constable (Tradesman) Eligibility Criteria 2024
Eligibility criteria for the post of Constable (Tradesman) under the Border Security Force in terms of educational qualification and age limit are available below.
Educational Qualification –
- One must have passed the Matriculation exam from a recognised state or central board.
- Additionally, he or she has a two-years ITI Certificate in relevant trade from SCVT/NCVT recognised institutions.
Note: If an individual has a one-year ITI Certificate in a relevant trade, he or she is also eligible to apply, if he or she possesses an experience of at least 1 year.
Age Limit –
- To apply online for the post of Constable (Tradesman) under the Border Security Force, an individual’s age must not be below 18 and above 25 years.
Note: There will be upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for Other Backward Class and Schedule Tribes & Castes, respectively, as per Government of India rules.
BSF Constable (Tradesman) Application Fee 2024

BSF Constable Exam Pattern 2024
Exam for the post of Constable (Tradesmen) will be administered by the Border Security Force in the Computer Based Test mode with an exam time duration of two hour, a total number of 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked from the followings:

- Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics
- Analytical Aptitude and Ability to Observe Distinguished Patterns:
- Basic Knowledge of English/Hindi
Each question will be of 1 mark and there will be no provision of the negative marking.
